The Process for Existing Website Owners
First, I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to have Sites by Dennis assist you with your website needs! We are confident you will be pleased with the results!
Second - Is there a "term or contract" with your current website designer or company? A lot of web hosting companies will offer a free domain with your hosting - as a package deal - but the reality is they own the domain - not you - until the end of your term contract!
Initial Consultation Information Needed
Domain Name:
What is the domain name?
When does it expire?
Website Host:
Where is your website hosted at?
Are you happy with your current website host, or are you looking for a change?
Are you under a "term contract" for this hosting?
If so, when does it expire?
Do you have a Do It Yourself website? If so, I do not work with those types of website hosts. There are other options available, and I can recommend what would be the best for your website needs.
Are you the person who designed the website? If so, don't worry about any critique comments regarding your website.
If you have someone else who has designed and/or is currently maintaining your website: Please make sure that you have the domain name and that you are not under any term contract that could end up costing you more.
Also please check to make sure that all the graphics or other information currently on your website are yours.
An initial consultation is needed so I can establish your likes an dislikes and preferences for your existing website.
If you are simply wanting a change to a different person to be able to provide prompt updates - GREAT!!

When you are ready for me to begin
- The first step I would need to do, is download your exisiting website - so I have all the graphics, photos, and basic information currently on your website. In order for me to do this, I would need the following information;
- Domain Registry Login Information
- Website Host Login Information
- From our initial consultation I would have the information needed for your website.
- Submit any photos or information you would like on the website. Information on how to submit this information can be found here; How to Submit Updates.
- Stay informed on the progress of your website.
