New Website Process

Thank you for considering Sites by Dennis to provide you with a new website for your business or organization.
The information provided here is to help get your new website LIVE on the internet - and answer some questions or concerns you may have!

STEP 1: Initial Consultation

By phone call or email, I am available to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding your new website.
So I can provide the best website to meet your needs and budget, the following basic information is needed;
1). Your Business or organization name, address, and contact information.
2). What is the domain name you would like to use? Have a couple of options in case the one you want is not available.
3). Preferences for your website, such as colors or even the look. If you prefer, provide me with a few website examples.
4). Your purpose or goal for the website. What you want your website to accomplish.
5). The number of pages and content for the various pages that you have planned.

Estimate Provided

From this information I will be able to provide you with an estimate on the cost for your new website. If you are acceptable to the initial estimate and costs for your website, then we can proceed to step 2.

STEP 2: Website Details

1. Domain name purchase and registration. I prefer to secure this right away.
2. Website Hosting account set up.
3. Optional - Set up email accounts.
4. Submit your business or organization information, along with any photos or graphics you want on your website.

5. Stay informed on the progress of your website.

How Long to Complete a Website

I don't believe that website should take weeks, months, or even up to a year to complete.
As such, I work fairly quickly in providing you with a great quality website in the shortest amount of time possible.
Most of my clients are surprised at how quickly their website is completed.

You are kept informed and up to date as to the progess - and in most cases I provide a "preview" of your site and make sure all is correct before the website is LIVE on the internet!

STEP 3: Website LIVE

Once the website goes LIVE, I verify to ensure that all is working properly before reporting to the major search engines.
You are able to begin informing everyone of your new website and even add your new website address to your business cards and letterhead. Don't forget to add the website address to the bottom of your email messages too!
